Camp PSG choosing Wattbike

July 21, 2023 2 min read

How is your French? If you are looking forward to the Rugby World Cup this year and the Paris 2024, you will be seeing more French-language posts coming from Wattbike as we gear up to these two great sporting spectacles. Media will be highlighting how these athletes prepare, and so prepare yourselves for a summer of Wattbike spotting on pitchside, changing rooms and in training centres.

Elite Sport Centres open their doors to show how the best of the best train and we are delighted to see athletes conditioning, cross-training, testing and sometimes even doing the odd photoshoot on the Wattbike! Latest to this list is Camp PSG - Paris Saint-Germain are enjoying a dozen Wattbike Pro and two Wattbike AtomX recently delivered to the Camp for pre-season.

We know that elite sport need performance, ease-of-use, versatility and ultimately quality for their athletes. None of these athletes would class themselves as cyclists, and we doubt that many own a road bike, but they are all Wattbikers and love (and sometimes love to hate) their Wattbike sessions.

World Rugby are placing a stack of Wattbikes at every stadium for the Rugby World Cup, and almost all teams are bringing Wattbikes to their training camps in preparation. These are all Wattbike customers, no endorsement or product placement here, every Wattbike will be well used this summer. Here's a sample French-language piece of SU Agen preparing in pre-season, Wattbikes showing their worth.

We are delighted to work with Elite Sports teams in France and with the Rugby World Cup alongside our French partners Incept - Indoor Sport Concept, this is just the start of a 12-month+ celebration of sport, and as a lover of sport and French speaker, I am thrilled to be a part of it. Allez les bleus, et les rosbifs!

Wattbike is proud to support Nottingham’s Nic Rotton as he takes on an extraordinary endurance challenge: completing the equivalent of 30 Olympic-distance triathlons in 30 days. Raising funds and awareness for Vasculitis UK, the initiative is deeply personal to Nic, who was diagnosed with Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA), a rare autoimmune disease. Now in remission, he aims to raise £15,000 while inspiring others through his journey. As a Nottingham-based indoor cycling brand, Wattbike has provided a performance bike to support his training, reinforcing its commitment to community, resilience and wellbeing.
